Liporale™
Liporale™ is an oral dose lipid matrix delivery system designed to replace injections, aerosols and patches. We can combine various antigens, therapeutics and active ingredients with Liporale™ to achieve superior vaccination or therapeutic delivery via the oral route.
Liporale™ delivery differs from other delivery systems in three areas:
Liporale™ Properties
- Liporale™ protects the active ingredient from degradation by the stomach;
- Liporale™ facilitates optimal presentation of the active ingredient to the small intestine; and
- Liporale™ supports the use of live attenuated bacteria and viruses to create gold standard vaccines for active immunisation.
Liporale™ Formulation
- Needle-Free!;
- Is natural – chemical free;
- Has an improved shelf life as the lipid matrix protects the active ingredient;
- Is solid at room temperature and does not need refrigeration;
- Does not deteriorate under humid or moist conditions as the lipid matrix is hydrophobic; and
- Can have additives included to improve attractiveness and palatability.
Liporale™ Administration
- Needle-free, therefore:
- Able to be self-administered;
- Creates a safer delivery environment i.e. no needle stick injuries;
- Creates greater patient participation and compliance; and
- Able to be remotely administer (e.g. no need to capture wild animals).
